Win The War,Not The Battles

I was reflecting on something last night.

Do I really need to have the last word in every argument?

If so why?

Where is it coming from?

And how is it impacting the relationships?

And I remember what my mentor said- Win the war not the battle.

You cannot win an argument, because even if you win you lose it in the long term.

So win the war not the battle.

Relationships are work.

Frictions, differences in opinions are part of it.

But how I am managing them, shows the future of my relationships.

Do I really win the petty battles or win the important war?

What's your war?

What battles are you fighting? Is that necessary?

Love,

Pratiksha
