𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐭𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬?

Have you ever wondered that?

Last night, while journaling, I was reflecting on this question. Today, during a session with my mentor, Puja Puneet, I gained even more insights into this topic—specifically about energy.

What I Learned-

1.People feel demotivated and lack energy because they don’t have a strong enough desire.

Their 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 to truly move them.

2. They 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, which leads to demotivation.

The Key is to:

Have a deep desire.

Make fast decisions and take fast actions.

Understand that every action leads to one of two outcomes: delight or disappointment.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼𝘁.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲:

𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺: Moves from disappointment to depression, which can eventually lead to disease—becoming a walking, talking dead body. (So many people around us live like this—they exist, but they are not truly alive.)

 𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿:Moves from disappointment to determination and reaches the destination.

It’s easy to slip into victimhood, but the one who chooses determination becomes a warrior and achieves their goals.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻?

By using the 𝗙𝗢𝗟𝗗 method:

𝟭. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 in God /Higher power/Universe

Many who fall into depression believe that "God is punishing me" or "this is not meant for me" because of their disappointments.

But those who succeed believe: "God is not punishing me; He is preparing me. My dreams are important. This is just a detour, not the end."

That faith keeps them on track.

𝟮. 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Most of the world is surrounded by pessimistic people—relatives, friends, or colleagues who drain energy instead of fueling it.

To stay motivated, we need mentors, coaches, guides, and communities that uplift us.

When we are surrounded by optimistic conversations, we build the strength to move forward.

𝟯. 𝗟𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼

Warriors refuse to carry what does not serve them—whether it’s thoughts, people, situations, past disappointments or fears.

They choose to let go and hold on only to what fuels their journey.

Letting go is an active form of self-love.

𝟰. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲

Even after disappointment, warriors keep moving—seeing setbacks as detours, not dead ends.

They take one small action every day toward their deep desire.

𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹

Have a Deep Desire → Make Fast Decisions → Take Fast Actions → Face Disappointment → Move into Determination (through FOLD) → Reach Your Destination with Gratitude

Love,

Pratiksha
